This is a lung mass taken from an 80 year old female. The lung mass was initially noted on chest x-ray. Subsequent CT exam demonstrated two lesions, one in the right upper lobe (2.0 cm) and one in the right lower lobe (1.0 cm). CT-guided fine needle aspiration was performed on the upper lobe lesion with a diagnosis of malignant cells, non-oat cell. The patient was taken to surgery and had a right lower lobe lobectomy.
