Fascinoma of the Day #1: A Small Round Blue Cell Tumor

Dr. Shitabata presented a case that was initially misdiagnosed. Only after re-reviewing the histopathology and analyzing the immunohistochemical staining pattern did he arrive at the correct diagnosis. He presents some of the pitfalls on relying on immunohistochemical staining patterns, especially when the results do not fit into any recognized diagnostic category.

Fascinoma of the Day #2

Dr. Yong Tao presented a beautiful case of a neurothekeoma (Figures on the left) and discussed the differential diagnostic points of distinction from a desmoplastic melanoma.
